We’ve settled on pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting and alternating layers of apple cinnamon and raisin walnut filling.

I sorta have skipped any type of fallishness in the wedding, in my unflinching determination to avoid anything “themey”. No gourd centerpieces or leaves strewn down the aisle.

But I think I can let the pumpkin spice cake slide (and maaaybe hot cider).
