You’ll forgive me for being a slouch today. I’m pretty busy gluing my face to the news and stockpiling junk food. Also, I’m not THAT big of a slacker. We’re hunkering down out here in Philly suburbs too! NJ and NY look bad! I’m hoping things don’t get like that here. How close are you to the water in Philly?? Any worry of trees falling or flooding, or is it just the power outage inevitability?

We have a creek nearby that’s notorious for flooding and has damaged homes before, but luckily we scraped by without even an outage (though folks nearby weren’t as lucky). How’d you fare, Rachel?

We were okay – no flooding, quite a few big trees and branches down but no damage to houses or cars. Just lost power, so we’re okay as far as I’m concerned! Do you guys have power?

We have power! The lights flickered just a bit, but never went out completely.
